We have been enhancing our facilities to provide comfortable stay experience to our guests since the foundation. We are proud of the facilities that let our guests enjoy delicious meals made of ingredient rich local foods in such pleasant area. Although Sounkaku Grand Hotel is surrounded by the great nature of Taisetsuzan National Park, it is still convenient and provides many amusements.

It has been remained to be the primary goal for us since it was founded eighty years ago that we make every effort for our guests being relaxed.

A Japanese restaurant"Ezomatsu" has characteristic tables that are traditional Japanese style foot warmers, "Kotatsu." Please enjoy our creative Japanese dishes that are made of local grown in-season-ingredients at those Kotatsu. This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor.

Japanese restaurant “Kaede” is not only a restaurant, but also a relaxing space. You will be treated with the easing atmosphere of oriental Kotatsu and paper screens and delicious dishes made of carefully selected ingredients. This restaurant is located on the 4th floor.

A buffet style restaurant "bonjour" features an open kitchen and serves you hot and fresh dishes. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor.

Our restaurant Nonno serves fresh,locally grown food.
